Copying & Laminating Helper

Students love having a guest come into their classrooms!  Special guest readers are great way for students to hear fluent reading. They are all ears when someone is visiting to read and they're absorbing everything, including the fluency.

VOWS is always looking for volunteers!  If you enjoy working with preschool-aged children, work well with a professional team, and can travel to preschools in the city, we would love to meet you.  We provide training for screening children in speech, general development, and hearing and vision. All volunteers must have a completed BCI background check before they can volunteer in any schools.  Our office provides this service.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Child Outreach Project Director Leslie Walaska Baxter at Leslie.Baxter@warwickschools.org or

at 401-298-6973.
